Can I process EBT payments?

Yes! EBT stands for Electronic Benefits Transfer which allows those in financial need to make purchases for groceries and some government related assistance programs.

Merchants looking to accept EBT must utilize a PIN capable device to accept these cards, and you need to register with the federal government in order to qualify for EBT acceptance. Sometimes called "SNAP", the program is easy to register for. If you sell food items, you can easily qualify. Once you sign up, you'll be granted a 7-digit "FNS number" which you'll share with AND. We then input your FNS number into your merchant account, and you're all set to accept EBT sales!

These transactions are unlike conventional credit and debit card sales in that they incur no percentage fee based on the amount of the sale. Instead, they only incur a per-transaction fee. There is no interchange, and there is also no chargeback  process. For most merchants, EBT will feel similar to PIN-debit sales, but with lower fees.

We're serious about saving money.

AND is dedicated to getting your processing rates as close to zero as possible. We utilize membership pricing along with cash discounting and surcharging programs to maximize savings. Let our analysts review your statements and see how much money we can put back in your pockets.
