What is recurring billing?
"Set it and forget it" is the common slogan for recurring payments. Input your customer's information, define the payment schedule, and you're done! The system handles the rest.
Recurring billing is an automated way to bill a credit card or bank account, based on a timeframe you set. The most common form of recurring billing is monthly, but most systems capable of recurring billing will provide more options, such as daily, weekly, bi-weekly and more.

Recurring billing requires you to have a payment gateway that supports this technology. The AND gateway has recurring billing included for no extra cost!

Setting up a recurring payment is easy. As the merchant, all you need is:

-
The customer's credit card number, expiration date, and AVS information
-
The amount you wish to charge the customer every iteration, and the frequency (for example, $100/per month, for 8 months)
-
The customer's email address

The system will first prompt you to create a customer profile for your customer, where you can save their name, address info, and card number. Then, you'll create a "recurring schedule" where you tell the system what day of the month you'd like to charge your customer's card, the dollar value, and how many iterations you'd like to charge! (You can choose to charge "indefinitely" and the payments will continue until you cancel them).
